Services you can schedule with Dr. Allison:
Cupping brings fresh blood to the area and helps improve circulation. It is beneficial in patients with bronchitis, asthma, congestion, arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, muscular pain, inflammation, blood flow and helps speed the recovery of sports injuries.
Moxibustion involves the heating of acupuncture points with smoldering mugwort herb (known as moxa). Moxibustion stimulates circulation, counteracts cold and dampness in the body, and promotes the smooth flow of blood and qi.
In electro-acupuncture small electrodes are attached to the needles inserted into the skin and muscles. This causes a stronger treatment and has garnered great results in the treatment of neurological diseases, chronic pain, spasms, sports medicine, injuries and neuropathies.
A message from Dr Allison...
My goal is to help your mind, body and spirit become the healthiest it can be. No matter what your age, from the very young to the older generation, we can all utilize this medicine by itself or in conjunction with western medicine to achieve optimal health. Whether you suffer from an acute or chronic disease, an injury or would just like to achieve balance within yourself I offer modalities and treatments personalized for you. Every person is different, physically and emotionally, therefore I treat the person as a whole, not the disease or ailment alone. I will customize your treatment with your goals in mind.
